About the project:

The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is an organization for professionals in the health and human services field that provides educational materials, including textbooks and newsletters, to their audience of more than 22,000 physical therapists, occupational therapists, and health and human services professionals.

For five years I have been designing custom covers for those publications based on creative briefs. Working with authors and editors to deliver attention grabbing visuals that people can't wait to pick up and read. Below is just a small sample of that work.

Touching every aspect of the Orthopedic company and creating visual pieces for them allows me to brand everything, such as helping with company events, marketing pieces, and much more. I’ve been able to help with the creation of a new event, as well as design some marketing materials for them. Additionally, I’ve also created ads for their PDA campaign, and social media posts! Everything looks great and is helping to promote their company in a big way.

When it came to editorial support they had to receive licenses from various publishing companies, they would have to pay out hundreds of dollars for a single drawing in their textbooks. Now they get professionally made illustrations to use that they don't have to pay for each time. Custom tailored and editable for a fraction of the cost means a healthy bottom line.
